My full-day packages pair fast, candid reportage shooting with a roll+ of 35mm or 120mm film tucked into every wedding — because some moments deserve grain, not just pixels. After 10+ years photographing real, unscripted days, I know how to hold space behind the camera without ever getting in the way of yours: reading the room, catching the moment before it happens, and blending in. That’s not something a shorter day or a second-string shooter can replicate — full-day coverage, prep to dancefloor, takes someone who’s done it enough times to make it look effortless. CANDID / VIVID / REPORTAGE

My style reflects my love of STREET PHOTOGRAPHY and my experience in the past of shooting and then cross processing 35mm film, my style aims to emulate FILM PHOTOGRAPHY through digital post processing.

So predominantly my couples are fans of colour photography that POPS with CONTRAST and black and white images that are STRONG and GRITTY.

WE’LL GET ON FAMOUSLY

I try my best to MEET as many of my couples FACE TO FACE before taking any bookings and hope that a meeting will forge a FRIENDSHIP and UNDERSTANDING that will reassure both the couple and myself that we will work fabulously TOGETHER.

Where a face to face meeting is not possible we can arrange a Skype or FaceTime call.

TIME TO BREATH

Ok, I’m going to HOLD MY HANDS up here and admit that as a reportage photographer I am still a SUCKER for a lovely image of the HAPPY COUPLE on their wedding day which may not occur naturally, unprompted throughout the day.

I do like to ENCOURAGE couples to take some time out to come with me to capture some RELAXED PORTRAITS.

However, in my defence, I also feel that the half an hour or so taken to capture these images gives the couple that well deserved TIME TO BE TOGETHER without much distraction to stop and take the day in.
Wedding days can be so fleeting as TIME certainly does FLY.

BE A PART OF YOUR DAY

I do capture BRIDAL party and FAMILY portraits and will request a list of groups a few weeks before the wedding.

However I urge my couples to LIMIT the group set ups to around six. Formal portraits can take up PRECIOUS time you could be spending with your friends and family where I could be capturing the candid images of true HAPPINESS and JOY being exchanged amongst your family and friends.
Those are the images you will look back on and SMILE.
